Job Summary: OPSPro specializes in providing small businesses and government contractors with comprehensive compliance and operational support, including HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT services. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting multiple clients with day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial data management. This fully remote role requires a self-starter who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong communication with internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position Timesheets/Employees/Labor: Add New EE's, Work Authorization for new EE's, Correct Timesheet and labor Journals, Import Timesheets Accounts Payable: Enter bills into the system, enter payments into the system, Reference payments correctly, Set up payments on behalf of clients Accounts Receivable: Maintain Billing schedule, apply cash receipts Reconciliations; cash, accounts Payable, accounts receivable, Labor reconciliation Accounting Entries; Payroll entries, credit card entries Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Degree in Accounting or a related field or commensurate years of experience. Intermediate understanding of GAAP. Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills (Pivots, VLOOKUP's). Proficient with other Microsoft products (Teams, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint). Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Detail oriented, strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities. Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information. Excellent communication skills. Preferred Experience working with various accounting systems (PROCAS, QuickBooks Online, and/or Unanet a plus). Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), and the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). Government Invoicing Experience with T&M, FFP and CPFF Contracts. Experience handling multiple clients, client communication and client interaction. Experience with Invoicing portals such as: WAWF, PLSC, TOS, IOL, WOI and My Invoice.
