[Remote] EPIC BRIDGES/INTERFACE SOLUTIONS ANALYST
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OCHIN is a nonprofit leader in health care innovation, seeking to expand its team with an Epic Bridges/Interface Solutions Analyst. This role involves implementing and maintaining interfaces between various systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with departments to support project implementations and optimize processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and deploy solution functionality by building, testing, and maintaining features according to specifications and requirements, while ensuring clear documentation for usability and future reference
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using critical thinking and advanced technical skills to ensure optimal system performance and end-user satisfaction
- Collaborate across departments to support project implementations and address member maintenance issues
- Drive documentation and knowledge sharing by creating and optimizing technical documentation to support process improvement and alignment across cross-functional teams
- Skill development and competency growth in technical design, analysis, and system enhancements
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare industry or health information technology
- Working knowledge of HL7 standards is required
- Epic Bridges certification is required
- 2-3 years of certified Epic Bridges work experience required
- Debugging, troubleshooting, and documenting skills
- Process and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented
- Must have strong Analytical skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
- High Speed Internet Service

- Travel may will be required nationally based on business requirements for OCHIN

- Working knowledge of XML is desired
- Experience with SpaceBridge within Bridges is highly desired
- Familiar with Mirth or other Interface engines is a plus
- Familiarity or interest in JavaScript or application development is not required, but a plus
- Knowledge of Epic Lab, Radiology or Patient Registration workflows is ideal
- Being comfortable with self-directed learning
