[Remote] Regional Sales Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Val-Matic Valve & Mfg. Corp. is a family-owned company that has been a leading supplier of air valves in North America since 1966. The Regional Sales Manager will manage sales activities, develop strategic sales plans, and maintain relationships with key clients to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist reps in promoting sales
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
- Mentoring: Participates in Company-sponsored training and provides mentoring
- Directly supervises a various number of manufacturing representatives
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Interviewing and training co-workers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining co-workers; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or
- Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have valid and current driver's license
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time by air and auto
