[Remote] Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will contribute by providing advanced analysis, research, and support for ERP software, ensuring data integrity and security across various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Product Owner of the ERP ecosystem
  • Assist in the implementation of ERP software solutions
  • Define solution specifications
  • Structure and prioritize business requirements and communicating plans
  • Configure ERP applications to meet organization requirements
  • Provide technical support for the ERP application and train users as required
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues to provide system support, quick issue resolution, deployment, and implementation services leveraging common IT standards
  • Identify the up and down-stream impacts of requests and mitigate risks accordingly
  • Analyze current state processes, identify gaps, and make enhancement recommendations
  • Create and maintain standalone and cross-functional documentation
  • Document business leader and end user requirements for application enhancements, new application development, process improvements, etc. including current/future state process flows
  • Serve as the point of contact between business and software providers to drive usage and adoption across the organization. Responsible for rolling out, testing, and training associates on software use
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for software providers in resolving system issues
  • Serve as IT project manager when required for projects
  • Leverage full technical expertise in solution development
  • Analyze and forecast the use of future software features and functions
  • Analyze data and business processes to promote optimization opportunities
  • Identify success criteria for solutions/enhancement implementation
  • Develop test scenarios, test scripts, test plans, and coordinate their execution
  • Own platform testing criteria and understand what ‘good’ looks like
  • Coordinate production moves with IT and external groups
  • Facilitate software integrations between ERP and other software vendors
  • Monitor issues lists and prioritize requests/projects/updates on hold and in flight
  • Advise on and assist to develop policies, procedures, or training documentation for business systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize software workflows
  • Follow change management plans
  • Occasional branch travel required in support of rollouts and field training efforts
  • Conduct periodic UARs (User Access Reviews)
  • Perform system performance reviews and generate reports on inefficiencies and areas of improvement
  • Conduct research into complementary solutions as the market matures
  • Work independently, but in a cross-functional team environment
  • Travel as needed
  • Partner with Toyota Material Handling corporate, across the dealer network landscape, internal Southern States Material Handling leadership, branch operations, and the internal Analytics team to foster a Kaizen, continuous improvement culture
  • Any other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values

Skills

  • 5 years working as a business analyst in a multi-site enterprise ERP environment
  • Extensive experience working with leading ERP software; MS Dynamics preferred
  • Experience in software systems implementations
  • Light industrial or material handling industry exposure highly desirable
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with knowledge of file systems, integration software, and systems applications required
  • Proven track record supporting remote, field, and back-office personnel required
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functional teams
  • Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Task prioritization working on multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrative project management skills and understanding of modern cloud computing
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related field required
  • Familiarity with IT standards such as html, ftp, cloud infrastructure preferred
  • Exposure to SharePoint and mobile computing hardware strongly preferred
