[Remote] Network Engineering DDI Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ELEVI Associates is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented veteran DDI Architect to provide DDI engineering and architectural consultation to clients, including Fortune 100 companies. The role involves implementing and deploying DDI systems, architecture development, and client engagement, requiring a strong understanding of network services and various technologies.
Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of Network Services, DNS, DHCP, ISC BIND, NTP and Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
- Minimum 10 years experience in implementation and deployment of DDI systems in corporate enterprise environments
- Experience with implementation and configuration of major IPAM platforms such as InfoBlox
- Experience in architecture and development of DDI infrastructure services as well as planning and execution of deployments and migrations
- Comfortable in front of high-profile clients, driving whiteboard and discovery sessions
- Experience/familiarity with the following as it pertains to DDI: VPN, SSH, APIs, CLIs, Scripting (shell, ksh, csh, etc.), Data migration, Service integration
- Database(s) such as: Oracle, Sybase, SQL programming, client/server technology, etc
- Network technology such as: TCP/IP, IPv6, ENUM, SIP, VoIP, 3G IMS, UDP, Ethernet, cabling, switches, routers, TCP/IP, WINS, FTP, telnet, HTML, web servers, Internet connectivity, network printing, network management, RAID, etc
- Network Operating Systems: MS Active Directory; Unix, Linux, Solaris, HP/UX, etc
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: database backup and fault tolerant systems; planning & testing methodologies
- Perl and Python are a definite +
- Must be able to travel 20% to customer site
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
