[Remote] Market Research Analyst

HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm, and they are seeking a Market Research Analyst to support the Enterprise Insights and Market Research team at Humana. The role focuses on ensuring efficient and compliant research processes while managing vendor relationships and improving operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Execute, document, and continuously improve processes for mandated research initiatives
- Collaborate closely with research team members to deliver Medicaid and CMS-required studies
- Plan and manage required research projects from initiation through execution
- Ensure all research aligns with legal, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Evaluate and streamline workflows across research operations
- Design and implement processes supporting legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and track departmental projects and ensure timely delivery
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting systems
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for external research vendors
- Oversee vendor contracts, performance evaluations, and ongoing partnerships
- Coordinate between internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure quality and alignment
- Maintain and optimize operational tools such as: Project intake systems, Compliance and regulatory tracking tools, Document repositories, Team SharePoint site
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of research data and documentation
- Assist senior researchers on large or complex projects
- Collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights to the business
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in: Marketing, Market Research, Data Analytics, Communications, Business (or related field)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in: Managing end-to-end market research projects, Research vendor management (including contracts and evaluations), Navigating healthcare-related legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Strong ability to: Manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Experience with CAHPS or CMS-mandated research
- Strong foundation in diverse research methodologies (qualitative & quantitative)
- Experience conducting research with: Multicultural populations, Low-income groups, Individuals with disabilities
