[Remote] Associate Director, Technical Project Management

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mondo is seeking an Associate Director of Technical Project Management for a remote contract position. The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital projects, overseeing budget management and resource allocation, as well as mentoring a junior Technical Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital projects including website builds, CMS implementations, marketing technology platforms, and custom applications
  • Oversee budget management, timeline tracking, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent client engagements ranging from small incremental projects to multi-million dollar builds
  • Run status reporting and maintain visibility into key metrics including hours tracking, burn reports, and milestone progress
  • Translate technical concepts and project status into clear business language for executive and client stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams spanning creative, development, data, analytics, and media functions
  • Mentor and provide day-to-day direction to a junior Technical Project Manager, delegating tasks and supporting their development
  • Partner with integrated project teams and the broader PMO to align delivery standards and operational processes

Skills

  • 5+ years of Technical Project Management or Technical Program Management experience
  • Agency experience, preferably in a regulated industry such as healthcare
  • Hands-on experience managing digital initiatives involving website development, CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Adobe), email, or campaign management
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with demonstrated ability to present to executive stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Jira for ticketing, task management, and project tracking
  • Experience with budget management across varying project scales and understanding of key delivery metrics including hours and burn reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior team members without requiring prior formal people management experience
  • Proactive, assertive communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Experience working with provider-focused healthcare clients or in a regulated agency environment
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet for project planning and reporting
  • Experience with NetSuite for time tracking
