[Remote] Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Foot Locker is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their Global Technology Solutions department. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality systems and solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and scalable technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market to partner to Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems and applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices
- Conduct thorough testing of systems and applications to ensure functionality, security, and performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers and junior engineers
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing any issues and proactively identifying opportunities to improve existing systems and processes
- Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes
- Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years' experience with software development, system administration, or network management, depending on the specific discipline
- 3+ years' experience using programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar
- 3+ years' experience with operating systems, databases, and networking protocols
- 3+ years' experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)
