[Remote] ServiceNow Business Analyst (mid-level)

They are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to support federal government clients by analyzing and defining requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements, ensuring solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and define functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
- Facilitate the prioritization of business needs, translating them into scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with agency goals and compliance standards
- Design and document business processes, workflows, functional specifications, user stories, and test plans
- Lead and support system and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
- Partner with technical teams to validate functionality and ensure solutions are built to specifications
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of federal agency operations, applying industry best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Conduct workshops and presentations to communicate requirements, process improvements, and system capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in a government or federal consulting environment
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including familiarity with common modules and functionality
- Proficiency in developing business process documentation using Microsoft Visio or similar tools
- Experience translating business needs into detailed technical requirements
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITSM best practices
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments with diverse stakeholders
