[Remote] Jr eCommerce Sales Analyst

The Junior eCommerce Sales Analyst plays a crucial role in translating data into actionable insights to support sales and operations, helping to drive smarter marketing and inventory decisions.
Responsibilities
- Pull, clean, and organize sales, traffic, and inventory data from multiple sources (Shopify, Google Analytics, ERP, BI tools, etc.). Help maintain reporting accuracy and ensure data integrity across platforms
- Track key product and category performance indicators to support forecasting, inventory management, and promotional planning
- Assist in building and maintaining dashboards that visualize ecommerce KPIs, providing teams with real-time visibility into demand and site performance
- Support Monday business readouts by gathering data, identifying trends, and highlighting key performance drivers
- Monitor performance against key metrics including traffic, conversion rate, average order value, revenue, and customer acquisition
- Support sales forecasting by analyzing product performance, seasonal trends, and marketing impact
- Monitor product availability and backorder rates to identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with Demand Planning and Merchandising to align inventory with consumer demand and promotional calendars
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports that highlight sales trends, channel and campaign level performance, sell-through, and margin performance
- Assist in developing backend tracking and reporting solutions to improve automation and data accuracy
- Work with IT and finance teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and system integrations
- Help QA data feeds and troubleshoot discrepancies across ecommerce systems and dashboards
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations teams to share insights that inform decisions on pricing, assortment, and campaign effectiveness
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for leadership and functional teams
- Document recurring reports, data sources, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce analytics, sales operations, or business analysis (internship or entry-level experience welcome)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), ecommerce KPIs, and customer journey metrics
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and paid platforms- Meta and Google
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) a plus
- Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple systems
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication skills — able to summarize complex findings in a clear, visual, and business-friendly way
- Eagerness to learn and grow in ecommerce, sales analysis, and digital operations
