[Remote] junior accounts payable coordinator f/m
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ba&sh America Corp. drives the North American expansion of the iconic Parisian brand, operating over 30 retail points in the U.S. They are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their NYC Finance team for an immediate start. The role involves managing the end-to-end invoice process, ensuring accuracy and compliance while acting as a key business partner to Retail Operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and register supplier invoices in the accounting system
- Verify invoice accuracy (amounts, purchase orders, supplier details, compliance, etc.)
- Ensure correct coding and allocation to appropriate cost centers or accounts
- Track and manage invoices through the internal approval workflow
- Follow up with Retail Operations teams to ensure timely approvals
- Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice status and resolve discrepancies when needed
- Maintain accurate and organized invoice records and supporting documentation
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Contribute to the improvement and documentation of AP processes and controls
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles (internships included)
- Basic understanding of accounts payable processes
- Immediate availability
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow up effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Microsoft Excel
- ERP/accounting systems (a plus)
