[Remote] Strategic Account Director

IDC is a premier global provider of trusted technology intelligence, and they are seeking a driven and client-focused Strategic Account Director. This role is responsible for owning, growing, and retaining a portfolio of strategic enterprise clients, focusing on long-term relationship management and driving revenue expansion through consultative selling and value-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage an enterprise book of business, ensuring revenue retention and year-over-year growth
- Develop and execute account strategies to expand wallet share across assigned enterprise clients
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to client business objectives
- Forecast revenue accurately and manage pipeline activity in CRM systems
Skills
- Required degree: Bachelor's or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years of sale experience
- Essential technical skills (e.g., software proficiency, technical competencies)
- Experience using Salesforce and accurate forecasting
- Up to 50% travel required (100% remote outside of travel requirements)
