[Remote] Strategic Account Executive – Software & AI Services
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sapphire Stream Technology is seeking a Strategic Account Sales Lead for Software & AI Services in North America. This role involves driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities with strategic technology accounts and building relationships to create sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Meet prescribed sales quotas and monitor and report on sales performance metrics to senior management
- Build and maintain account plans, including customer organization maps, stakeholder maps, opportunity roadmaps, competitive landscape, and action plans in the North America region
- Establish, build, and manage multi-level relationships with customers and their partner organizations
- Develop and present proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business
- Manage business opportunity pipelines to ensure tracking the opportunity status and forecasting revenues to produce reports in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams and external partners when needed, to structure competitive delivery models for software and AI development projects
- Have a comprehensive understanding of both the customers’ businesses and their market competitors to ensure that effective strategic proposals are provided
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software service sales or a related field with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated success in identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
- Ability to understand customer technical needs and translate them into software, AI, and engineering service proposals
- Strong analytical, self-motivated, and problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Fluent verbal and written professional communication in English
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, a related field, or technical domain
- Experience developing business with Big Tech, cloud service providers, platform companies, or large enterprise technology customers is strongly preferred
- Experience in engineering services, software outsourcing, or professional services business models is preferred
