[Remote] Software Engineer – Web-based Environmental Data Tools (5164)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to lead the development of a responsive, web-based application for ecological data collection. This role combines technical expertise in full-stack development with a focus on supporting customer projects related to Hydrogeomorphic (HGM) assessment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test a web-based platform for desktop and mobile use
- Implement database structures and workflows to support field data collection and storage
- Integrate automated quality controls to reduce error and improve data accuracy
- Collaborate with ecological researchers to align tool functionality with HGM assessment needs
- Prepare documentation, including user guides and technical reports, to support tool deployment and reproducibility
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5–7 years of professional experience in web and mobile application development
- Strong background in database management, cross-platform development, and responsive design
- Demonstrated ability to produce robust, user-friendly tools that meet scientific and operational requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary research team
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Clearance if required

- Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
