[Remote] Key Account Manager

Precision Sales Recruiting is conducting a confidential search for a Key Account Manager for a leading global specialty polymer and chemical manufacturer. The role involves managing existing accounts and developing new business in the Southeast and Eastern US, requiring significant travel and full-cycle sales responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle responsibility: managing existing accounts AND actively developing new business
- Complex, multi-month sales cycles involving technical qualification, sampling, application testing, and multi-stakeholder approvals
Skills
- 5+ years of sales experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, or closely related technical products
- Proven experience selling into or working with the textiles, wovens, carpet, or fiber industry
- Full-cycle capability: account management and new business development
- Eastern US geography with the ability to work Eastern hours
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 50%
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Remote, Eastern US. Carolinas, Ohio Valley, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Kentucky region preferred. Houston or Dallas also considered for the right candidate
