[Remote] Regional Sales Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Florida's Natural Growers is a farmer-owned cooperative dedicated to producing high-quality citrus products. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage existing business, cultivate customer relationships, and drive sales growth within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationship with existing customers and distributors within assigned region in order to meet and exceed sales goals
- Identifying and presenting new opportunities with existing customers by conducting monthly planning presentation to using data to recap how our products are doing and suggesting ways to increase volume
- Create, implement and execute strategies to achieve assigned corporate objectives
- Engage new National and Regional Grocery Chain Accounts to gain incremental business
- Introduce and Roll out new innovation to Customers as well as distributors
- Develop and execute an actionable annual sales plan that meets or exceeds in both volume and trade spend targets
- Ensure Annual Sales Plans are maintained in Trade Promotion Management Software tool – Go Simple
- Work with Sales Finance team to build customer contracts, assist with deduction concerns as well as trade promotions
- Proactively analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities for sales and volume growth
- Prepare Sales forecast for all indirect buying customers
- Provide weekly recap reports
- Collaborate with all company departments to drive results for the business
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5 years sales experience, preferably in CPG Sales
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft products
- Direct selling experience in grocery class of trade – via brokers okay but direct preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, communicate and leverage syndicated POS and panel data against selling objectives (Nielsen and or IRI)
- Demonstrated initiative as well as success in achieving personal and team quotas
- Ability to manage accounts at the headquarter level
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Ability to identify execute priorities within a multi-task business environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 15-25%
- Resilient self-starter who thrives in an environment that is face paced and is able to adapt to changing environments/situations
