We are seeking an Administrative Assistant on a contract basis to join a fast-paced global strategic innovation team. The team is an operational innovation team at the forefront of new music industry developments and tackles the challenges of the day-to-day business of music. The work involves process improvements, technology design and build, and leading key initiatives. The team is responsible for data modeling (taxonomy design), audio tag enrichment, accuracy and the tagging application. This role is 100% remote in Woodland Hills, CA. What Youll Do: Support of project operations, processes, and related activities Tagging and data preparation of the program Assist in scheduling meetings, documentation of meeting minutes and ad-hoc projects Investigate and troubleshoot day-to-day issues for internal software platforms Liaise with business units globally Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for department applications Must Haves: Knowledge in music theory, harmony, history Broad knowledge of music genres and repertoire High aptitude for learning new software programs Ability to document processes and troubleshoot issues Flexible with shifting priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Adaptable and personable, team player attitude, has a sense of humor Intellectually curious with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently Love of music and interest in the music industry/Music industry experience Background in playing a musical instrument preferred Data analysis tools expertise (Structured Query Language (SQL), Big Query) preferred Technical Support experience preferred Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA preferred Familiarity with supply chain operations preferred Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Hours & Location: M-F, 40 hours/week.
