The Social Media Manager will lead social media initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor and collaborating with clients to navigate the complexities of social media within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as social media counsel to account staff and clients in collaboration with the social team lead
  • Manage workload across multiple projects for self and junior staff, taking the lead on complex initiatives
  • Conduct social listening and influencer research, derive insights from data, and present findings to internal teams and clients
  • Display a deep understanding of the broader digital ecosystem and cross-collaborate with other subject matter experts
  • Educate peers and clients on social media best practices, trends, and technologies
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert and project owner for social media, helping clients achieve marketing objectives within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Comfortable explaining the role of social media within an integrated marketing mix
  • Ability to brainstorm about social media solutions in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience exploring new social media platforms
