[Remote] Europe Sales and Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GE Vernova is a leader in sustainable energy solutions, seeking an exceptional Europe Sales and Business Development Manager to join their Asset Management team. This role focuses on driving growth in Asset Performance Management and Diagnostic & Monitoring business across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, collaborating closely with regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and execute the Go-to-Market strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Go-to-Market strategy for enterprise-level solutions, promoting the Asset Management portfolio to utility and industrial customers
- Achieve sales targets by identifying, developing, and leading significant campaigns to win high-value, complex deals
- Leverage existing GE Grid Solutions capabilities and early-stage engagement in key grid deals to proactively integrate and promote Asset Management solutions
- Identify and capture digital opportunities by cross-selling the broader GE portfolio to resolve specific customer challenges
- Lead proposal teams to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions; establish commercial agreements while leveraging global templates to ensure service delivery
- Educate and coach regional sales teams on best practices, processes, and tools to ensure consistent regional performance
- Utilize market data to refine regional strategies, launch marketing campaigns, and increase brand awareness while ensuring full regulatory compliance
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or any other relevant field
- Extensive knowledge of the European electrical and utility markets, complemented by a strong background in the digital/software business and sales domain
- Strong background in Grid Automation/Services or relevant industrial sectors, including power generation and oil and gas
- Ability to travel and valid work authorization in the EU
- Fluent in English
- Extensive knowledge of Grid Automation and Grid Services business it's an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, a resilient and flexible mindset, and a proactive, autonomous 'doer' approach
