[Remote] Remote Electrical Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ITP (International Talent Partnership) is seeking an experienced Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, analysis, and oversight of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with codes and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, lighting systems, grounding systems, and emergency power systems
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, construction documents, and design drawings
  • Review and seal engineering documents as required by state licensing regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and project assessments to support design development and construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IBC, local codes, and industry standards
  • Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, arc flash analyses, and coordination studies
  • Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management efforts
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawings during construction
  • Participate in client meetings and serve as a technical representative throughout project execution
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and value engineering

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, healthcare, data center, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
