Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Scalence L.L.C. is seeking an SAP Consultant to manage the SAP Supply Chain Command Center on a 24x7 basis. The role involves monitoring critical applications, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the SAP Supply Chain Command Center on a 24x7 basis
- Monitor business-critical SAP Supply Chain applications, interfaces, integrations, batch jobs, middleware, cloud services, and infrastructure components
- Ensure continuous operational visibility across Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Supply Chain Planning processes
- Perform shift handoffs and maintain operational continuity across global support teams
- Proactively monitor system health utilizing tools such as: SAP Solution Manager, SAP Focused Run, Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, ServiceNow, Azure Monitor, Cloud-native monitoring platforms
- Identify, triage, and prioritize incidents before they impact business operations
- Perform event correlation and root cause analysis
- Lead incident triage activities for Priority 1 through Priority 4 incidents
- Coordinate war rooms and bridge calls during major incidents
- Engage appropriate resolver groups and vendors
- Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and resolution
- Provide executive communications during critical business outages
- Drive root cause investigations for recurring incidents
- Identify operational trends and systemic issues
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans
- Track remediation activities through closure
- Support critical business events, product launches, financial close activities, inventory cycles, promotions, seasonal peaks, and supply chain transformations
- Monitor business transaction flows and key operational KPIs
- Escalate risks impacting revenue, customer experience, or operational performance
- Coordinate environment availability and readiness activities
- Support code deployments, release validations, smoke testing, and production readiness reviews
- Manage environment calendars and maintenance windows
- Ensure successful implementation of changes with minimal business disruption
- Identify opportunities for operational automation
- Implement self-healing and predictive monitoring capabilities
- Leverage AI and analytics to improve operational efficiency
- Reduce manual effort through automation of repetitive support activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across support processes
- Prepare operational dashboards and executive reports
- Track service performance metrics including: Availability, Incident Volume, MTTA, MTTR, Change Success Rate, Defect Leakage, SLA Compliance
- Participate in governance meetings with business and IT leadership
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, playbooks, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions across support teams
- Maintain operational documentation and process standards
