About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will assume a leadership role in delivering exceptional service to both external customers and internal stakeholders. This multifaceted position involves managing a high volume of customer interactions across phone, email, and live chat channels, with a strong emphasis on accurate order entry within our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. After successfully completing the comprehensive training program, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, giving you the best of both worlds — in-person collaboration during onboarding and the freedom of a remote schedule once you’re fully ramped up.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and energized by solving problems. You will work closely with multiple departments, navigate a vast product catalog, and continuously expand your knowledge base to serve customers with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Entry and ERP Management: Execute precise order entry into JD Edwards ERP systems, ensuring speed, accuracy, and efficiency with every transaction. Use the ERP platform to manage customer accounts and resolve a wide range of issues, including product replacements, credits, returns, shipping concerns, product information requests, account setups, order status inquiries, billing questions, and general customer support needs.
  • Multichannel Customer Interaction: Manage a high volume of incoming customer calls, actively listening to identify customer needs, providing thoughtful solutions, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through clear, empathetic communication. In addition to phone support, you will respond to customer inquiries via email and live chat, delivering timely and accurate information across every channel.
  • Website Navigation and Product Expertise: Navigate arenaflex’s company website with confidence to assist customers in locating product information, checking availability, and walking them through the ordering process. You will become highly knowledgeable about our extensive catalog of more than 15,000 products, enabling you to serve as a reliable resource for customer questions.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including sales, logistics, billing, and technical support to address and resolve customer issues efficiently. Your ability to foster a cohesive team environment will be critical to ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Knowledge Base Utilization: Leverage internal knowledge bases, job aids, and training resources to independently locate answers and provide accurate information. You will stay current on product updates, company processes, and service best practices to continuously elevate the quality of customer support.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Improvement: Embrace change with a flexible mindset. Essential Qualifications

  • Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: At least six (6) months of customer service experience is required, with preference given to candidates who have worked in a service center environment or have data entry experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills with excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated capacity to handle a continuous flow of customers and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment.
  • Web and Systems Navigation: Solid web navigation skills with the ability to toggle between multiple systems and platforms to access customer data quickly and efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to handle complex customer issues, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and deliver solutions that exceed basic expectations.
  • Analytical Thinking: Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and apply skills acquired during training along with web-based and desktop resources to resolve customer concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience using order management systems, particularly JD Edwards or similar ERP platforms.
  • Live chat support experience in a professional setting.
  • Experience managing high-volume email support with attention to tone, clarity, and turnaround time.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and ticketing systems.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics in a customer service role.
