Senior Project Manager (Healthcare) – Remote (Pacific Time) Position Overview We are partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that support clinical operations, patient services, and enterprise transformation efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while collaborating across clinical, operational, and technical teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of healthcare environments, regulatory considerations, and project delivery best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle management of complex healthcare projects, from initiation through implementation and close-out
  • Drive execution of multiple concurrent initiatives across clinical, operational, and administrative functions
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Partner with stakeholders including clinical leaders, IT teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and project success
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and organizational policies
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive reporting
  • Oversee vendor coordination and cross-functional collaboration
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to track success and optimize outcomes
  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in project management

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including leading large-scale or enterprise-level initiatives
  • Hands-on experience using Smartsheet is required
  • Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in healthcare, health systems, payer, or related environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Candidate must reside in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, or Utah

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK methodologies or similar frameworks
  • Experience supporting healthcare transformation, process improvement, or system implementations
  • Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven environments (e.g., HIPAA)
