Remote Medical Scribe

The Remote Scribe Company is looking for experienced medical professionals who have experience using EHR/EMR systems in a clinical patient-provider environment to be remote, work-from-home medical scribes. Experience with Dermatology and Epic is required. Our scribes are paired with one provider, thus allowing the scribe and provider to become an efficient team as the scribe learns their provider's preferences and workflow, streamlining medical care for both the healthcare provider and the patients they serve. Our medical scribes work remotely and connect to their assigned provider in real-time via an online virtual meeting platform. Our scribes are issued a HIPAA-compliant laptop, and our providers connect to their scribes using an iPad, allowing two-way communication and collaboration. Our scribes are responsible for completing documentation of patient visits, adding appropriate diagnosis codes, submitting orders for labs/imaging/prescriptions, retrieving lab/imaging results, and more. Required Qualifications:

• We do not have evening, weekend, or asynchronous hours at this time.
• 3+ years of experience working closely with healthcare providers as an MA, LPN, RN, or EMT or 1+ year of experience as a medical scribe in a clinical setting with strong knowledge of medical terminology, treatment plans, medications, diagnoses, charting, etc.
• 1+ year of experience in Dermatology, with knowledge of dermatology terminology and charting.
• 1+ year of experience with Epic in a clinical setting as an MA, LPN, RN, EMT or medical scribe.
• Ability to focus and work remotely from your home without interruptions, as if you were in an actual clinical exam room scribing for a provider.
• Keyboard proficiency 60 wpm minimum, with at least 90% accuracy.
• Reliable home internet connection with backup internet option.
