Join us as an AI-Ready Knowledge Architect, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data architecture and AI capabilities. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead the design and maintenance of enterprise information structures that drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data domain models, taxonomies, and ontologies to ensure data consistency and discoverability.
  • Design information and semantic models to make data AI-ready, supporting analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Implement data models and semantic structures through the Enterprise Data Catalog.
  • Establish standards for data modeling and semantic structures to ensure interoperability across business domains.
  • Document metadata elements for key business processes and AI workflows, aligning with governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify data structures, reduce redundancy, and promote canonical sources.
  • Collaborate with analytics, data science, and AI engineering teams to support explainable and trustworthy AI outcomes.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in data, metadata, and reference data frameworks, including metadata management.
  • Proven track record in developing enterprise business glossaries and domain models for semantic consistency.
  • Strong understanding of semantic models and knowledge representation for AI and LLM use cases.
  • Excellent business acumen in relating data to business processes and performance management.
  • Collaborative team player with experience driving outcomes across data, analytics, and technology organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of data and metadata management principles, business analysis, and process engineering.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with knowledge graphs and technologies such as Neo4j, Stardog, and Amazon Neptune.
  • Familiarity with ontology and semantic modeling tools like OWL, RDF, Protégé, and TopBraid.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data and knowledge catalogs like Alation, Collibra, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Understanding of AI context delivery using vector databases and hybrid retrieval methods.
