Primary care and specialty outpatient care are available through the Medical Faculty Associates, a multi-specialty physician practice group of more than 750 physicians covering 51 specialty and subspecialty areas. The Medical Faculty Associates' doctors have offices in the Ambulatory Care Center, an outpatient clinic building located one block from the hospital. POSITION SUMMARY Fulfills the needs of patients, families and community by providing Physical Therapy services in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments. The George Washington University Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Center is seeking Full-Time Pelvic Health, Ortho, Neuro, and Oncology Physical Therapists. We offer a collaborative environment where knowledge and experience are shared among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists to best serve our diverse patient population. With over 25 subspecialties among our orthopedic and neurological departments, we aim to foster clinician growth through in-services, continuing education, grand rounds, journal clubs, and more. Pelvic Health: You are a great fit for pelvic health if you have 2+ years of experience in pelvic floor rehab, a willingness to treat all genders, and have manual therapy/orthopedic experience. We care for a variety of patient populations including, but not limited to, sexual health, transgender, prepartum, postpartum, prostatectomy, incontinence, and pelvic pain. Ortho/Neuro: Experienced and new graduates welcome. We accept patients 18yrs+ for all orthopedic and neurological conditions. Join our team of APTA board-certified specialists, fellows, and other advanced clinicians with mentoring opportunities available. Oncology: Sit as a member of our Commission on Cancer-accredited program. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary care team of oncologists, nurses, dieticians, and researchers. Lymphedema experience preferred.
