Position Overview
arenaflex is seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Remote Government Programs Customer Service team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for members, providers, and clients navigating Medicare, Medicaid, and other government‑related dental programs. Your expertise will help ensure accurate eligibility verification, claim status updates, and grievance resolution—all while delivering a courteous, professional experience across multiple communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries via telephone, email, fax, and U.S. mail, adhering to arenaflex’s service standards.
- Communicate eligibility, benefit, claim status, and payment information clearly, using proper etiquette, grammar, and punctuation.
- Identify the root cause of each call, provide accurate resolutions, and meet regulatory and contractual timelines.
- Guide callers through grievance and appeals processes, offering step‑by‑step assistance as needed.
- Document every interaction meticulously in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring a complete audit trail.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing government dental programs.
- Achieve or exceed quality standards and call‑center metrics established for the position.
- Enter, adjust, and reconcile claims in arenaflex’s claims processing platform, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including underwriting, provider relations, and compliance—to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and assessments to continuously improve service delivery.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer‑service environment that required the use of software applications, preferably within a call‑center supporting Medicare and/or Medicaid enrollees.
- Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Windows‑based software; ability to quickly learn arenaflex’s proprietary systems.
- Successful completion of arenaflex’s customer‑service simulation assessment (minimum score 62/100) and multitasking/call‑logging assessment (minimum score 65/100). Candidates who have previously passed these assessments at arenaflex or who have held a related customer‑service role are exempt.
- Strong written communication skills, evidenced by a passing score (minimum 62/100) on the email composition assessment.
- Ability to work a flexible eight‑hour schedule, starting as early as 7:55 a.m. and ending as late as 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on delivering timely, accurate resolutions.
Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
- Experience with dental benefit administration, health‑care claims processing, or government program eligibility.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, ACA, and other health‑care regulatory frameworks.
- Certification in Customer Service Excellence (e.g., CCSP, HDI) or related professional development.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fully remote environment, demonstrating self‑discipline, time‑management, and effective virtual collaboration.
- Multilingual capabilities, especially Spanish, to serve a diverse member base.
