As a Senior Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be the critical link between healthcare providers and arenaflex’s claim processing teams, ensuring that every call is handled with professionalism, empathy, and precision. Your work will directly influence the speed at which providers receive reimbursements, the clarity of benefit information, and ultimately the quality of care patients receive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and research incoming healthcare claim inquiries from doctors, clinics, and other providers, navigating multiple arenaflex platforms to verify pricing, prior authorizations, and applicable benefits.
  • Ask targeted, open‑ended questions and actively listen to uncover the root cause of each issue, documenting all relevant details in arenaflex’s case management system.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with providers, translating complex policy language into simple, actionable guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including underwriting, billing, and IT—to resolve escalated issues and close knowledge gaps.
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics for efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to arenaflex’s Telecommuter Policy, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Proven ability to operate Windows‑based PC applications and quickly master new, complex software platforms.
  • Availability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CST (or MST), with flexibility for occasional overtime when business needs arise.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated, private workspace that meets arenaflex’s security standards.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

  • At least one year of experience in a customer‑service, administrative, or clerical role that relied heavily on phone and computer usage.
  • Prior exposure to the healthcare industry, medical terminology, or health‑insurance claim processes.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, claim adjudication software, or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Empathy & De‑escalation: Ability to calm frustrated callers, understand their concerns, and provide solutions with genuine compassion.
