Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer‑oriented individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of arenaflex, ensuring every shopper feels valued, supported, and confident in their purchasing decisions. You will greet customers, guide them through product selections, manage transactions with precision, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Service Excellence

  • Warmly greet each customer entering the store, establishing a positive first impression.
  • Assist shoppers in locating merchandise, answering product‑related questions, and offering recommendations that align with their needs.
  • Maintain an approachable demeanor, actively listening to concerns and resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor the sales floor for opportunities to engage customers, providing proactive assistance before they request help.

Transaction Management & POS Operations

  • Accurately process sales, returns, exchanges, and refunds using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with strict adherence to arenaflex’s financial controls.
  • Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer payment information and comply with all security protocols.

Merchandise Handling & Store Upkeep

  • Receive deliveries from trucks, unload merchandise, and verify items against packing slips.
  • Organize stockroom inventory, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently for easy retrieval.
  • Transport products from the stockroom to the sales floor, arranging displays that are visually appealing and easy for customers to navigate.
  • Restock shelves, replenish high‑traffic areas, and execute planograms to maintain product availability.
  • Conduct regular aisle checks to keep the store tidy, free of hazards, and stocked with promotional signage.

Safety, Security, and Store Operations

  • Remain vigilant of customer activity, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.
  • Assist in loss‑prevention initiatives, such as monitoring for suspicious behavior and following arenaflex’s security procedures.
  • Participate in routine store opening and closing tasks, including securing doors, setting alarms, and completing end‑of‑day reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets, operational goals, and exceptional customer service metrics.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a willingness to learn and follow operational guidelines is essential.
  • Experience: Prior experience in retail, hospitality, food service, grocery, or pharmacy environments is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of regularly lifting up to 40 lb (occasionally up to 55 lb), and performing frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing throughout the shift.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of a 24/7 retail operation.
