Why This Role Matters
As a Customer Engineer III – Security you will be the technical bridge between arenaflex’s cutting‑edge security portfolio and the enterprises that rely on it. You will partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate complex security challenges into actionable solutions, ensuring that our customers can adopt arenaflex with confidence, compliance, and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Identification & Qualification: Work closely with sales and customer success teams to uncover business opportunities, diagnose technical objections, and craft strategic plans that remove security and compliance roadblocks.
- Technical Advocacy & Enablement: Serve as a subject‑matter expert on security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, delivering product briefings, proof‑of‑concept demos, and bid support that showcase arenaflex’s value proposition.
- Solution Design & Prototyping: Build and demonstrate end‑to‑end integrations of arenaflex security services within customer and partner environments, ensuring seamless adoption and measurable risk reduction.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Legal, and Policy teams to develop best‑practice guides, playbooks, and internal enablement programs that drive consistent, high‑quality customer experiences.
- Thought Leadership & Content Creation: Author technical content, region‑specific enablement material, and user‑protection demo environments that empower the global Customer Engineering organization.
- Customer Engagement & Travel: Represent arenaflex at customer sites, industry conferences, and events, acting as a public advocate for our security solutions and fostering long‑term relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of hands‑on experience with cloud‑native architecture and cybersecurity in a customer‑facing or support capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, identity and access management, or enterprise fraud prevention.
- Proven ability to engage and present complex technical concepts to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry‑recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
- Track record of implementing large‑scale security solutions (e.g., threat hunting, ransomware defense, IAM, or fraud‑prevention platforms) for enterprise customers.
- Software development experience, particularly in building web‑based applications and automation tools.
- Deep knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, attack frameworks (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK), and emerging threats like ransomware-as-a‑service.
