Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NeoGenomics Laboratories is looking for a Director, Finance Programs and Solutions who will act as a strategic partner to the CFO and leadership teams. The role is responsible for shaping and executing the finance organization's agenda, focusing on enhancing organizational effectiveness and driving enterprise-wide initiatives to support growth and improve decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CFO to define and execute a multi-year finance roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and growth objectives
  • Evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and leading practices to continuously evolve the organization operating model
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and modernize processes, capabilities, and ways of working
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational effectiveness, operating-model design, and future-state capabilities
  • Partner with People & Culture to develop workforce strategies that prepare team for a more digital, analytical, and business-oriented future
  • Champion the evolution of roles toward higher-value activities, including strategic analysis, business partnering, forecasting, and decision support
  • Establish a strategic roadmap for automation, intelligent workflows, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage automation, machine learning, generative AI, and predictive analytics to improve efficiency, controls, and decision quality
  • Partner closely with Technology to evaluate, implement, and scale digital solutions across processes
  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value, productivity gains, and enhanced user experiences
  • Partner with the CDIO and enterprise data teams to establish a robust data strategy and governance framework
  • Improve data quality, accessibility, transparency, and consistency across reporting and analytics
  • Advance the use of data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and operational performance management
  • Drive the development of modern reporting, dashboarding, and analytical capabilities that enable proactive business leadership
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs that drive meaningful improvements in performance, scalability, and business impact
  • Build alignment across Finance, Technology, People & Culture, and business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of change initiatives
  • Develop and execute structured change-management strategies that accelerate adoption, minimize disruption, and improve stakeholder engagement
  • Establish performance metrics and governance structures that sustain continuous improvement
  • Establish governance frameworks that provide transparency, accountability, and effective prioritization of the program portfolio
  • Develop business cases, investment strategies, and success measures
  • Monitor program performance and ensure realization of targeted financial, operational, and strategic benefits
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on program progress, risks, and outcomes

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience spanning finance operations, finance programs, consulting, shared services, or enterprise change leadership
  • Proven track record leading large-scale finance programs and change initiatives within complex, high-growth organizations
  • Deep understanding of finance operating models, organizational design, process excellence, and digital finance enablement
  • Experience implementing finance technologies, automation platforms, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, Boards, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change and capability-building initiatives
  • MBA preferred
  • Diagnostics, healthcare services, or other regulated-industry experience advantageous
