[Remote] SDR / Inside Sales (Remote)

Aktivate is a Sports & Activities Management and Fundraising platform for schools and athletic departments, and they are seeking a remote Sales Development Rep / Inside Sales Closer. The role involves proactive outreach to athletic directors and coaches, qualifying decision-makers, and closing partnership deals while maintaining a clean pipeline in the CRM.
Responsibilities
- Proactive outbound to Athletic Directors, coaches, and school administrators — calls, email, text
- Working directly with coaches to help them fundraise for their teams and programs
- Qualifying the right decision-makers and booking meetings
- Running and closing school-wide partnership deals you source yourself
- Keeping a clean, honest pipeline in the CRM
Skills
- At least 1 year in a sales or SDR role — you've carried a number before
- A sports or athletics background is a big plus. ADs and coaches are busy and skeptical; people who understand the schedules, the pressure, and the world of school athletics connect faster and book more. If you've ever had to fundraise for a team, you'll get this product immediately
- Persistent, organized, and genuinely comfortable on the phone
