[Remote] Cyber Security Engineer (Return-to-Work Program)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Precision Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for their Return-to-Work Program aimed at supporting women transitioning back into the workforce. The role involves implementing and maintaining security controls and frameworks to protect critical business assets while also responding to security incidents and conducting risk assessments.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Network Security, and Security Operations within enterprise environments
- Expertise in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls, security frameworks, and cybersecurity best practices to protect critical business assets
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, Proxy Servers, and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, risk assessments, security audits, and remediation activities
- Experience with security tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, or Microsoft Defender
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Zero Trust Security models
- Experience investigating and responding to security incidents, threat detection, malware analysis, phishing attacks, forensic investigations, and incident response procedures
- Understanding of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including cloud security monitoring, governance, compliance, and threat protection
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and CIS Controls
- Experience automating security operations using Python, PowerShell, Bash scripting, security orchestration tools, and security monitoring platforms
Skills
