[Remote] Medical Imaging Field Engineer 2 - Kansas City, MO

They are seeking a Medical Imaging Field Engineer 2 to service MR/CT/MI Equipment in the Kansas City area, focusing on installations, maintenance, and customer relations.
Responsibilities
- You will be servicing MR/CT/MI Equipment in the Kansas City, MO area
- You are in a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites
- You are the 'Face of Siemens' to the customer
- You support the diagnostics modalities initially, with potential to cross train into other modalities in the future
- You are flexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required
- You report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions
Skills
- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
- Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting
- Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools)
- Can locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams and functional descriptions
- 7+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments needed
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required
- Physical Requirements: Lifting 50 lbs regularly [floor to above waist/head], and often over 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone
- You have knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
- You have previous experience with the desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment
- You have the ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties timely and accurately
- You have a strong background working with electronics and are proficient in the use of service tools and service test equipment
- You have proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 -Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
