[Remote] Manager, Business/Data Analyst Job Details | BCD

They are seeking a Senior Business & Data Analyst who will bridge the gap between complex data and clear business decisions, working closely with stakeholders and the development team to deliver high-quality data capabilities across the BCD Travel platform.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to elicit, challenge, and document requirements — using AI tools (Microsoft Copilot) to structure and accelerate documentation
- Translate business needs into crisp functional and non-functional specifications, ready for the development team to build from
- Work hand-in-hand with developers and data engineers throughout the full delivery lifecycle — not just at handover, but at every step
- Use Databricks to investigate business problems, validate hypotheses, and surface evidence-based recommendations
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all relevant deliverables
- Continuously look for process improvements: if something is repetitive or manual, question whether it needs to be
Skills
- Proven Business/Data Analysis experience
- Strong requirements documentation skills
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Microsoft Copilot / AI tool proficiency
- UAT planning and execution skills
- Experience creating detailed functional specifications
