[Remote] Training and Technical Marketing Partner

Maui Jim Sunglasses is part of the global Luxury group Kering, specializing in eyewear that combines creativity, innovation, and quality. They are seeking a Training and Technical Marketing Partner to design and deliver training programs for their US Sales Force and Retail Partners, while also contributing technical knowledge to marketing campaigns and products.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop and deliver complete learning solutions in support of business objectives using a blended learning approach to provide sustainable, engaging, interactive and impactful training opportunities
  • Partner with and work extensively with subject matter experts to develop and maintain training content to enhance internal and external training as it relates to business processes, product knowledge, marketing strategy, service calls, company policies, etc
  • Consult with the marketing team on technical product development and campaign strategies
  • Support product launch activities from a technical marketing and training perspective
  • Apply key instructional design methodologies to develop and maintain relevant and high-quality training programs for Maui Jim Sales Force and Retailer Partners globally
  • Facilitate seminars, workshops, webinars and other training sessions to address business and organizational needs; solicit feedback to ensure content continues to be relevant, audience appropriate and appealing to adult learning styles
  • Lead day-to-day activities of multiple assigned training initiatives, communicate status updates and preemptively identify changes in scope of work. Manage project plans, vendor management, resources and budget allocation
  • Plan, organize and coordinate the national training schedule with Manager to ensure consistent and professional marketing and communication of all programs
  • Facilitate seminars, workshops, and other training sessions to address business and organizational needs; provide feedback when necessary to ensure workshop content continues to be relevant to our learners
  • Facilitate and continuously update US Sales Force onboarding training program in conjunction with sales management including knowledge of systems, product, service expectations, organizational workflow, job skills, and department policies and procedures
  • Answer client queries and provide technical product support. Continuously review and revise existing training materials to evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs. Recommend and implement changes as needed. Determine additional training strategies based on data and observation
  • Collaborate with the training team to assist with the coordination of relevant training creation and delivery for our internal and external learning management systems (LMS)
  • Create courses for CE credit for industry publications, facilitation via webinar or live training events.(if applicable)
  • Travel as requested throughout North America to facilitate in-person training events for our Retail Partners and to keep a pulse on what is happening in the field to help drive training initiatives

Skills

  • Bachelors, High School (Required)
  • 6+ years of training and development experience
  • Ability to work with and teach varying degrees of abilities and experience levels using varying methods to address adult learning styles
  • Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and creating effective instructional materials
  • Ability to analyze and select the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and technologies to maximize the learning experience and impact
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving and logic skills
  • Strong team player, ability to work well with others on projects and presentations
  • Demonstrated planning and analysis skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Exceptional communication: verbal and written skills
  • Experience developing content and conducting training
  • Strong collaboration and client relationship skills
  • Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings
  • Ability to utilize a PC
  • Ability to carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to travel overnight
  • ABO Certification (a benefit but not required)
  • Experience with learning management systems, instructional design and screen recorder & video editor software (beneficial, not required)
