Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Advanced Clinical is a well-known organization seeking a Remote Senior Health Economics and Outcomes Research Consultant. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally to support payer engagement strategies, developing evidence generation plans, and leading the creation of scientific content for payers and healthcare decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally (within GIE&I and with Global Medical Affairs and Market Access) to support the development and execution of a robust payer engagement and communication strategy across the portfolio
- Develop and maintain a dynamic roadmap of evidence generation and resource development plans for the Managed Market Liaison team, ensuring alignment with Market Access
- Lead the creation and approval of scientific and medical content for payers and other HCDMs, including:
- Pipeline communications
- Disease State Education (DSE)
- Pre-Approval Information Exchange (PIE)
- Health Care Economic Information (HCEI) / Real-World Evidence (RWE)
- Population health resources
- Partner with Value Evidence Strategy and Global Medical Affairs leads to ensure all field resources communicate clear, concise, and compelling payer value messages that highlight the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of the client’s products
- Lead and facilitate ongoing training for the MML team, with the payer value story serving as the foundation
- Work cross-functionally to ensure payer insights are incorporated into strategy and resource development
Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent
- Strong understanding of managed care, health policy, and HCEI/RWE, as well as FDA guidance for payer communications
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing scientific initiatives, including development of field resources for payer/HCDM engagement
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across large cross-functional teams
- Proven communication skills, evidenced by medical communications experience (e.g., with a medical communications agency) or similar roles highlighting communication expertise
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, take initiative, and identify requirements to successfully complete tasks
- Experience working with agencies and vendors to execute projects
- Strong strategic thinking and a track record of operational excellence
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively as a contractor and align with the client's values
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH) in a relevant scientific or health-related field
- Prior knowledge and proficiency with Veeva Promotional and Medical review processes strongly preferred
- Experience with contracting and budget management strongly preferred
- Experience in CNS and/or Nephrology preferred
