SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP IS-U, ABAP RAP, Workflow, Forms, and Extensibility frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP solutions while supporting a Clean Core development strategy and modern SAP S/4HANA extension methodologies. Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities

Develop and support SAP ABAP solutions within SAP IS-U environments. Design and maintain reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, and custom developments. Create and enhance SAP Forms using Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms. Develop and maintain SAP Workflow solutions to automate business processes. Build enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, enhancement spots, and related frameworks. Develop applications utilizing ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model). Implement SAP In-App Extensibility and Developer Extensibility solutions. Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Ensure compliance with SAP Clean Core development principles and best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities. Required Skills Strong SAP ABAP Development experience within SAP IS-U environments. Experience with SAP ABAP Form Development (Smart Forms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms). SAP ABAP Workflow Development expertise. SAP ABAP Enhancement Development experience. Hands-on experience with ABAP RAP Development. Experience with SAP In-App Extensibility and Developer Extensibility. Knowledge of SAP Clean Core Development Strategy. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and modernization initiatives. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of SAP integration and extension frameworks. Experience 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. Demonstrated experience supporting SAP IS-U projects and enhancements. Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. SAP certifications are a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
