Key Responsibilities

As a virtual assistant for Airbnb customer services at blithequark, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests, vendors, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and messaging platforms
  • Utilizing AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT, to craft comprehensive and personalized guest messages that reflect our brand's voice and values
  • Screening potential guests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicating and escalating issues to management via Slack, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution
  • Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status through outstanding guest relations and support
  • Writing and responding to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency
  • Reporting maintenance and damage issues to operations via Operto Teams, ensuring prompt attention and resolution
  • Submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Building, managing, and reporting on in-house maintenance labor, optimizing efficiency and productivity
  • Assisting with the onboarding of accounting systems, leveraging knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with 3rd party vendors, ensuring effective tertiary market management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Airbnb, Guesty, and Operto Teams, or similar short-term rental management platforms
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT, for guest messaging and communication
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Availability to work Thursday and Friday, 3pm-11pm CST, with potential opportunities for part-time overnight shifts
  • Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles, with experience in onboarding accounting systems
