About arenaflex – Shaping the Future of Music Distribution

arenaflex is a world‑leading technology and services provider that powers the distribution, marketing, and royalty management of music for independent labels, artists, and content owners. With a portfolio that spans more than 800 clients—including iconic indie labels and emerging talent—arenaflex connects creators to the biggest digital service providers (DSPs) such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and many others. As a proud member of a global music holding group, arenaflex combines cutting‑edge software, data‑driven insights, and a passionate team to ensure that every track reaches its audience and that creators receive the revenue they deserve.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to democratize music distribution by giving every artist, regardless of size or genre, the tools and expertise needed to thrive in a fast‑evolving digital landscape. We do this by investing heavily in technology, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and maintaining a relentless focus on customer success. If you love music, technology, and the idea of helping creators around the world get heard, arenaflex is the place where your career can take off.

Why This Role Matters

The Client Support Coordinator – Remote Data Entry position is the front line of arenaflex’s service delivery. In this entry‑level role, you will become the trusted liaison between record labels, artists, and the digital platforms that host their music. Your work ensures that every digital release is accurately entered, properly formatted, and flawlessly delivered to global DSPs. By maintaining the highest standards of data quality, you directly influence the visibility, discoverability, and revenue potential of our clients’ music catalogs.

Even though the role is designed for candidates with little or no prior experience, it offers a fast‑track pathway into the music‑tech industry. You will gain hands‑on exposure to industry‑standard tools, learn the intricacies of royalty calculations, and develop a deep understanding of how music moves from a studio to a listener’s ear. This foundation can lead to advanced positions in client success, product management, data analytics, or even strategic partnerships within arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial touchpoint for label partners and DSP representatives using arenaflex’s software, providing courteous and knowledgeable assistance.
  • Data Entry & Validation: Accurately input release metadata (track titles, artist names, ISRC codes, genre tags, artwork, etc.) into the distribution platform, ensuring compliance with each DSP’s technical specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks on uploaded content to guarantee that audio files, metadata, and artwork meet quality standards and are free of errors before release.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data‑related issues that may arise during the upload or distribution process, escalating complex problems to senior support staff when necessary.
  • Client Education: Guide partners through best practices for metadata management, royalty reporting, and platform navigation, empowering them to manage future releases independently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—including product, engineering, and marketing—to relay client feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of arenaflex’s tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed records of support interactions, data entry logs, and resolution steps in the company’s CRM system.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up‑to‑date with evolving industry standards, DSP requirements, and emerging trends in music technology.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or coursework in music, business, information technology, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Strong passion for music across genres, with a particular interest or experience in classical or niche music markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey technical information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a natural inclination toward accuracy and data integrity.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfort navigating web‑based applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and meeting deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative spirit that thrives in a multicultural, global team.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Familiarity with music industry terminology (e.g., ISRC, UPC, royalty splits, DSP, metadata).
  • Experience using digital audio workstations (DAWs) or music management software.
  • Exposure to CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce).
  • Basic understanding of data formats (CSV, XML) and the ability to manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Multilingual abilities, especially in languages commonly used in the music market (Spanish, French, German, Italian).
  • Previous experience in a customer‑service or support role, even in a part‑time or volunteer capacity.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot inconsistencies, interpret data, and propose logical solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and keep detailed records.
  • Tech‑Savvy Attitude: Comfort with learning new software quickly and adapting to evolving tech stacks.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactively identify root causes of issues and suggest improvements.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment where priorities can shift daily.

  • Account Manager – Music Distribution: Own strategic relationships with key label partners, driving revenue and retention.
