Position Summary

arenaflex is seeking an Advanced Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic Data Management team. This full‑time, remote role offers a competitive base salary starting at $60,000 per year, a flexible 40‑hour work week, and a comprehensive benefits package. The specialist will be the guardian of data integrity across multiple platforms, ensuring that critical business information is accurate, up‑to‑date, and readily accessible for decision‑makers, analysts, and creative teams.

In this role, you will leverage your meticulous attention to detail, advanced typing proficiency, and strong analytical mindset to process high volumes of data, conduct rigorous audits, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to continuously improve data workflows. If you thrive in an autonomous environment, enjoy solving data puzzles, and are passionate about supporting a company that delivers magical experiences to millions, this opportunity is designed for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Ingestion & Validation: Accurately enter data from a variety of sources—including spreadsheets, PDFs, scanned documents, and web forms—into arenaflex’s enterprise databases and cloud‑based platforms.
  • Quality Assurance Audits: Perform regular data audits to detect inconsistencies, duplicate records, and missing fields, applying corrective actions to maintain a 99.9% accuracy rate.
  • Process Improvement Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and department leads to identify bottlenecks, propose streamlined entry procedures, and implement automation where feasible.
  • Documentation & SOP Development: Create and maintain clear, concise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry tasks, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with internal governance policies.
  • Reporting Support: Generate data extracts, summary reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders, supporting analytics and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, liaising with source owners to clarify ambiguities and prevent recurrence.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Participate in ongoing training sessions, webinars, and peer‑learning forums to stay current on best practices, new tools, and emerging data standards.
  • Project Assistance: Contribute to ad‑hoc projects, data migration efforts, and system upgrades, offering expertise on data integrity considerations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data entry, data management, or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) and Access.
  • Exceptional typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of identifying data anomalies and implementing corrective measures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear documentation and effective collaboration with remote teams.
  • Familiarity with data management systems, relational databases, and basic data governance concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline (not mandatory if experience is equivalent).
  • Experience with cloud‑based data platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
  • Knowledge of data cleaning tools (e.g., OpenRefine) or scripting languages like Python or SQL for data manipulation.
  • Prior exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate) to enhance entry efficiency.
  • Certification in data management or quality assurance (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot even the smallest inconsistencies and correct them before they impact downstream processes.
  • Organizational Excellence: Systematic approach to handling large data sets, maintaining orderly file structures, and tracking progress.
  • Technical Agility: Comfort navigating multiple software applications, learning new tools quickly, and adapting to evolving technology stacks.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with remote colleagues across time zones, providing clear updates and feedback.
  • Self‑Motivation: Proactive mindset that drives continuous improvement, seeks out learning opportunities, and takes ownership of outcomes.

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans with low co‑pays and extensive provider networks.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with generous company match to help you build long‑term financial security.
  • Paid Training & Development: Access to online courses, certifications, and workshops to advance your skill set.
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays designed to promote work‑life balance.
  • Flexible Remote Schedule: Ability to structure your workday to accommodate personal commitments while meeting business needs.
  • Employee Discounts: Exclusive discounts on arenaflex’s entertainment offerings, merchandise, and streaming services.
  • Wellness Programs: Virtual fitness classes, mental health resources, and employee assistance programs.
