Why This Role Matters

In today’s data‑driven world, accurate and timely information is the backbone of effective decision‑making. As a Data Entry Technician at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of data integrity, ensuring that critical policy information, claims details, and customer records are captured with precision. Your work will directly influence the quality of service we provide to millions of drivers, support regulatory compliance, and enable our analytics teams to generate actionable insights.

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous, self‑motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and possesses a genuine passion for data accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong computer literacy, an eye for detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities without compromising quality. This position offers a blend of independent tasks and collaborative teamwork, making it perfect for individuals who enjoy both focused work and dynamic interaction with colleagues across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, verify, and update a high volume of insurance‑related data into arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party systems with a target accuracy rate of 99.9%.
  • Perform routine data quality checks, identify discrepancies, and initiate corrective actions in coordination with underwriting, claims, and customer service teams.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems, ensuring that all documents are properly indexed, searchable, and compliant with internal data‑governance policies.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat to create, edit, and convert documents, as well as to generate reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve data‑related inquiries from internal users and external customers, providing clear and courteous communication.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of data entry workflows, suggesting automation opportunities and process improvements.
  • Adhere to security protocols and confidentiality standards, safeguarding sensitive personal and financial information.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, knowledge‑sharing meetings, and quality‑assurance audits to continuously elevate performance standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years demonstrated experience in a data entry or similar administrative role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional certifications in data management or office administration are a plus.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) and Adobe Acrobat for PDF handling.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining high accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with teammates, supervisors, and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, taking initiative when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with data‑entry platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or custom CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with data‑validation tools, OCR technology, and basic scripting (e.g., VBA) to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology, policy structures, and claims processing workflows.
  • Previous exposure to regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or state insurance regulations.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Accuracy & Precision: Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies that could impact downstream processes.
  • Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple data streams while meeting daily and weekly targets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort navigating multiple software applications, learning new tools quickly, and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactively identify root causes of data anomalies and suggest practical solutions.
  • Communication: Clear articulation of issues and resolutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Team Collaboration: Build constructive relationships with peers, supervisors, and cross‑departmental partners.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift based on business needs.
