Role Summary

This position is a full‑time, work‑from‑home opportunity that blends customer service expertise with sales acumen. You will join a dynamic team of remote agents who operate across 35 states (excluding AK, CA, CT, D.C., HI, IL, MA, ME, MD, MT, NE, NJ, NY, OR, RI, and WA). Your primary responsibilities will include answering inbound calls on behalf of our client brands, resolving issues, and proactively recommending relevant products or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer calls promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous tone at all times.
  • Diagnose and resolve billing questions, service cancellations, order status inquiries, and technical troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities based on customer needs, product knowledge, and sales scripts.
  • Document each interaction accurately in the CRM system, ensuring compliance with data‑privacy standards.
  • Meet or exceed individual performance metrics, including Average Handle Time (AHT), First Call Resolution (FCR), and sales conversion rates.
  • Participate in paid training sessions, role‑plays, and ongoing coaching to continuously improve product knowledge and communication skills.
  • Maintain a quiet, distraction‑free home office environment, equipped with the required hardware and high‑speed internet connection.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience; for sales‑focused roles, at least one year of proven sales experience is mandatory.
  • Reliable personal computer (desktop or laptop) with a flat‑panel monitor between 17‑21.5 inches, capable of displaying a minimum resolution of 1280 × 766.
  • High‑speed broadband internet (minimum 5 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload) and a hard‑wired Ethernet connection for the duration of each shift.
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from background noise and interruptions.
  • Functional telephone line (landline or mobile) as required by the specific client assignment.
  • Ability to operate multiple software applications simultaneously (CRM, ticketing, knowledge base, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the 7‑day‑a‑week service requirement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear, friendly, and professional speaking voice.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a remote or virtual call‑center environment.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, cable, or utility industry products.
