Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as a vital member of the store's daily operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional, friendly, and efficient service to every customer who visits our store. You will be involved in a wide variety of tasks that go beyond traditional cashiering, including merchandising, stocking, store cleanliness, and loss prevention awareness. You will be expected to greet customers warmly, assist them in locating products, answer questions about merchandise and store policies, and complete transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system. Key Responsibilities

  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, including restocking shelves, recovering merchandise, and ensuring fitting rooms, aisles, and checkout areas remain tidy throughout the shift.
  • Loss Prevention Awareness: Remain constantly alert to customer activity and store surroundings to help ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any suspicious behavior to management immediately.
  • Operational Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by store leadership, including price changes, inventory counts, markdowns, and other tasks that contribute to an effective and profitable store operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with fellow team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals, assist during peak hours, and support a positive team culture.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be able to read, write, and follow both written and verbal directives, and interpret basic retail operational documents such as schedules, planograms, and inventory sheets.
  • Experience: Prior experience working in a retail, grocery, hotel, restaurant, or drug store environment is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 55 pounds, from floor level to above shoulder height. Candidates must also be able to meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
