Job Summary:

United Parcel Service (UPS), a leading global provider of logistical solutions, is seeking a dedicated and diligent Overnight Package Delivery Driver to join our team. This part-time position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing excellent customer service. As an overnight package delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages within a specified route between 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Job Description:

– Safe and timely delivery of packages to customers’ locations.

– Verifying delivery information and obtaining customer signatures when necessary.

– Regularly communicating with dispatch team and responding to delivery requests or issues.

– Adhering to company policies and regulations.

– Maintaining a clean driving record and properly managing delivery documentation.

Requirements:

– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

– Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 pounds.

– Excellent customer service and communication skills.

– Ability to operate and navigate a delivery van.

– Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.

– Must maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image.

Responsibilities:

– Loading and unloading packages into the delivery vehicle.

– Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

– Complying with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

– Reporting any vehicle maintenance problems or malfunctions to the supervisor.

Educational Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

– Previous work experience as a driver or courier is a plus, but not necessary as training will be provided.
