Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable FedEx Ground Delivery Specialist to join our team in Washington. As a FedEx Ground Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of packages to customers while maintaining the high standards that make FedEx one of the top-rated delivery companies in the country.
Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of various packages within a specified area. This can include both residential and commercial locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service, and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
– Safe and efficient delivery of packages to customers
– Loading, unloading, preparing, and inspecting deliveries
– Provide exceptional customer service during delivery pickups and drop-offs
– Adhere to FedEx’s safety policies and procedures
– Maintain accurate records and logs
Requirements:
– A valid driver’s license
– Must be at least 21 years of age
– Able to lift heavy packages (up to 75 lbs.)
– Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
– Clean driving record
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
Previous delivery experience is preferred, but not required. Paid training will be provided.
