We’re currently looking for a Data Analyst to help us identify, analyze, and interpret trends from the data collected by our fleet of devices around the clock. WHY do we need you? You will play a pivotal role in monitoring the power grid, acting as the first line of defense against power line faults that could lead to catastrophic wildfires. Your efforts in real-time data analysis, anomaly detection, and critical event escalation will directly contribute to preventing potential disasters, ensuring fleet reliability, and safeguarding communities.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing: • Monitoring real-time data streams from field sensors and responding to alerts. • Consistently following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to investigate and localize real-time faults with minimal error. • Quickly and efficiently working with Supervisors on ad-hoc data requests, and following up during ongoing investigations. Requirements: • STEM degree (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) • Proficiency in English - must be able to efficiently communicate event information • Basic understanding of data analytics and anomaly detection • A passion for working in a fast-paced environment • Highly motivated, proactive, able to perform duties without supervision • Being willing to work night shifts and weekends • Ability to work 40 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: • Basic proficiency with Python programming • Research experience (STEM preferred) • Experience working with metadata or data annotation • Experience with real-time work and/or making reports Application Although we do not require candidates to submit a cover letter, candidates who wish to have their application stand out are invited to write a cover letter outlining one or all of the following things in bullet-point format: • Why you are interested in joining Gridware • What skills make you the perfect candidate for this role Please ensure that both your resume and cover letter are submitted in English.
