High Dosage Educator: K-8 Math Online Teacher (Remote, Part-Time)

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong background in mathematics, and the ability to deliver high dosage instruction to support student learning and achievement. Responsibilities: • Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions to students of various grade levels and abilities (grades K-8) • Implement preassigned lesson plans to meet the needs and goals of each student • Assess student understanding and progress, and adjust teaching methods as necessary Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field • Valid Teaching License or Certificate • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and techniques • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Personal computer with fast and stable internet connection • A reliable microphone and webcam are necessary, as live help will be provided through our online virtual whiteboard via text, audio, and video Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day. Shifts available: • Morning: 7-11 AM, 8 AM-12 PM, 9 AM-1 PM, 10 AM-2 PM (Eastern Time) • Afternoon: 11 AM-3 PM, 12-4 PM, 1-5 PM, 2-6 PM, 3-7 PM (Eastern Time) • The majority of shifts are available in the afternoon. Compensation: • Math: $450 per week for 5 days a week, with payments made biweekly • We also offer an alternative schedule of 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, at $360 per week Additional Information: • The estimated start date is mid-September, but several schools may start earlier, and there may be an opportunity to start sooner. • This position requires several hours of paid training (online) through our platform and the state portal, to be completed before the start date. • The position will run the entirety of the upcoming school year, from September to May.
