Part-time Live Online Social Studies Teachers for the 2024-2025 School Year
Description: Bridgeway Academy, a subsidiary of Edovate Learning Corp. is looking for an anticipated Part-time Live Online Social Studies Online Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year... This is a fully remote part-time position. Classes are held at various times between 10:00 am EST and 6:30 pm EST, Monday through Thursday The Live Online Social Studies Online Teacher delivers instruction related to courses and promotes program growth and quality aligned to Bridgeway Academy's philosophy of learning. The Live Online instructor works collaboratively with company staff to ensure outstanding service and support. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver live instruction to students Plan lessons and grade student products Submit grades and attendance weekly in the learning management system (currently Moodle) for company review and student viewing and reporting. Report final session grades within one (1) week of receiving final student work submissions Support Live Online Class participants Respond to email and phone calls in a timely manner; preferred 24-hour response May be asked to attend local graduation ceremony, Annual Vision Summit, and training events with Bridgeway Academy Participate in personal professional development Uphold the criteria included in the Edovate and Teacher Handbook Requirements: Education Degree/Teaching Certificate (Social Studies) required, California teaching license preferred Teaching Experience Knowledgeable of content area instruction best practices Experience in Moodle or similar LMS preferred Reside in one of the states (listed above) Edovate Learning Corp, the parent company of Curriculum Express, Elephango and Bridgeway Academy, is an educational support company that provides curriculum, companion lessons, instructor-led and live online learning and much more!
