We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with contact center experience! Do you have experience handling inbound Healthcare calls? If so, please apply today! Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service to members of a Medicare Advantage plan. • Manage a senior population by exhibiting a strong dedication to empathy and using active listening skills to address members' concerns. • Document calls appropriately to reflect each interaction with members. • Meet and exceed contact center targets for call management, quality, and adherence to schedule. • Handle all calls professionally and escalate when necessary. Operational Hours: Monday through Friday – 8am-8pm EST – varies shifts available within operational hours. During open enrollment, operational hours will change to include weekends. Qualifications: • 1-2 years of experience in health insurance/Medicare/Medicaid customer service. • 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment; 1+ years using QNXT. • Knowledge of Member Service, HIPAA, Claims, and Provider Services. • High School graduate or GED; 2-4 years undergraduate degree or certificate is a plus. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Experience using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phone simultaneously; strong keyboard skills and ability to enter data accurately. Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future. Hourly Rate and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
